To decide where to do our thriller was difficult because we knew we had to compromise on something that would look very like a house as we needed to film downstairs, on the stairs and upstairs. We discussed building a set but after speaking to the construction crew we knew that the levels needed would be to difficult to make it look like a realistic house. We then thought about using real life houses and the easiest option were our boarding houses at school. Each person was allocated a house to look at. Perry looked at peaslake, I looked at Cornhill Manor and Lucas and Indie looked at Beatrice Webb. We thought looking at these houses would be useful because they do look like real houses and they have the individual location spaces we need for example stairs, downstairs and an upstairs. After doing this we soon came to realise that none of the boarding houses looked like a normal house they were to big and they weren't decorated how a lived in house would be and all three houses looked to much like a school. While we were discussing other possible locations Freddie Gass a member of our class told us that he lived near by and that we could use his house if it was the right look we were trying to achieve for our thriller.
