Casting -what are you looking for and why?

As a group we decided that we wanted the female character to have an edgy style showing the audience there is something different about our artist. We want a girl with a niche look who is naturally pretty but also has something interesting about them so there look matches the song and the themes of the video. As a group we talked about the kind of TV character that we could base our artist on and we came up with two from the TV show 'SKINS'. 

Here is some pictures of the two characters Cassie and Effy: I liked effys big blue eyes as they are a statement and something that stands out and we like cassies euphoric look in a dreamy fairy sort of way that would match the floaty theme of our song/music video.

For our male character again we looked at various TV characters in programmes that are for our target audience e.g. Skins,Misfits,Glue and in Misfits we decided to use the character 'Nathan' as a base for our male character as we like the way he has an extremely interesting face with chiselled features and long floppy hair that gives him the edgy, mysterious look.
